Lincoln Historic Street-scape and Park

Historic Lincoln is one of those classic small towns that was located on either side of the railway. A line of historic buildings are parallel to each side of the track and all but two were empty prior to the restoration. Transportation Funds were used to restore the sidewalks with concrete and brick bands, provide ornamental lighting, and landscaping. An old building used for utilities was torn down to provide space for a lawn now used for parties and an annual music festival. Restaurants and businesses have moved into the once vacant building to take advantage of people now visiting the historic destination.
